String progression...

Well almost there. Top is done now I need to figure out how to back it and how to quilt it... any ideas?

Strings in blue and purple

I've been following the blog of the fantastically talented Ashley on her blog " Film in the fridge".

She has done a number of string quilts and has a great tutorial so... I thought I'd give it a try.
I wanted to make something for one of my son's friends, his best friend who happens to be a girl.
Her fave colors are blue and purple... so here goes. Hope she likes...
